JoFo land has been grand LOL - the job front. Well... I was hoping to take a class(es) in Spring Semester. I then found out that the classes aren't offered on-line at that time. I can't take them in case I need to relo. My new M.O. for job searching is to constantly change my city, state to the area I'm focusing on. I'm able to relo at my own expense but, employers don't always believe you if you say you'll move. I've lost out on 2 great opportunities because I wasn't 'there'. (Sigh) I have a couple places where I'm trying to pick up as much technical skills as possy. I loathe IT but, its the only area I'm remotely familiar with where I can maybe get a job. No one's hiring PM or BA's (middle management). I wish I could've taken a formal class so that I can put it down on my resume. I can't claim expertise if I've taken a few free CBTs (:0| Noni juice is being pimped in a lot of 3rd worlds. I do admire your energy and drive, just remain focused, and you will do fine. As far as a degree goes, personally, I am leary of online classes as I think it is better to go in person. Even if you are not close to the school of your choice, try night classes at a community college or trade school t get started just for prep until you are able to go the school you want to get in to. As far as the loser MLM tard goes, he's a loser not much else to say there, just like the BAAT TARD. Next time, we should all just silently flag.

Leary of on-line courses Yep. I took one recently. They mentioned a programming step that if you were just listening along and didn't know what it was, you would've been totally lost. At this time, I'd really like to take an in-person class. I'm now an expert on retraining. Go ahead, ask me anything! The things I'm interested in learning (that will hopefully help me get a job) are hard to find. Local community colleges offer programs that are antiquated or out of touch with the modern world. I've recently learned PHP. I'm relearning SQL. I'm interested in learning more about implementation on servers and databases and, of course, opensource stuff. What I'd really like to get is certification in EPIC. Unfortunately, this hot radiology SW program is murderous to get training in. The good folks at EPIC conduct the on-site training at your company. Snobs... LOL - thinking about re-training? In what? I've looked into everything. (:0| You got me: I'm a type AAA.
