These are the following things for me.. ==>(this is only my opinion, and not advice that anyone should follow, but it is my opinion/list). 1. If the interviewer asks how little you would accept for salary. 2. If I hear a lot of yelling among employees during the interview, or while I'm waiting to talk to someone. 3. If I don't get along with even ONE person that I interview with (see #4, that person could one day be your boss...independant of experience, etc.). 4. If it seems like favoritism dictates who is promoted.... 5. If there are a lot of empty desks and it looks like they are empty due to layoffs. If there is an expectation of late night work to communicate with 'overseas' teams. 6. Sometimes I drive by the company I'm thinking about interviewing with on the weekend to see how often the parking lot is full... 7. I read online reviews of employers by current employees. 8. If it seems like there will be rounds and rounds and rounds of interviews. 9. If it "feels" like a "permanent" job to fill a short term need.

They All Makes Sense, And I Agree... Low pay is my ultimate showstopper. That's the point where I have to stop myself from slapping the skit out of them.

I agree, if the salary is mentioned immediately and it turns out to be really low. Then I quickly switch into 'don't care' mode. For instance, I went on a job interview once and the hiring authority told me the position paid about $40K/yr less than I was presently making. I said ok, thanks. Then he asked, "Aren't you going to ask me about the company, and work". To which I said, "Well if the salary is below what I'm making there doesn't seem to be much point.."

I used to think I could adapt to any job then I realized that is an attitude which kills people Eventually I learned enough about myself to just click off any job posting with little exclamation points! Rounds and rounds of interviews are pure D ego masturbation unless the person in the position is going to be making huge decisions that can make or break the organization.
