Following up: I met a very nice man who works for the publishing company I tempted with and he told me that where hiring again and to send him a resume. Well I did via email but no reply. I ed him on friday and he was out of the office till monday and left a message thanking him and stating that I just wanted to make sure he had gotten my resume because I was worried that my email may have gone to spam. No reply. Should i again, email, let it go or fax?

Call or email It is understandable that you don't want to be a pest. But you also do want to follow through on things too. If you use email, you can turn the "read receipt" on if you want but I would try phone at either first thing in morning or right after what you might think was lunch. You want to manage to say hello rather than a voicemail message. Just practise ahead of time so that you don't get nervous and rattle on and on.
