question about SPAM ok, we all see lots of spam here and we flag it and it may or may not be taken down, whatever so how does the system work? are these people posting making money off it? I would suppose so; are they working these "make money at home typing ads" jobs? (spam begetting spam) no, I don't want that work, but I wonder what's the deal, how do you get paid? there's just so much of it someone must be making money, right? I've had my own domain for several years and I now get 50-60 spam emails a day and it fills up my mailbox every day and lots of it are for the same company or product sent by different people, this is actual work that's paid for? again, not looking to do it, just curious

Once in awhile someone posts a news article about an interview with a spammer. Evidently one person can make millions per year. Based on the # of people I see on CL asking if the scam merchandise they just ordered that they haven't received yet was a good decision to buy, I have no reason to doubt it. The # of suckers to savvy is tiny, but they're working on extremely high volume. I think the last one I read was from a guy doing around $600,000 a year part-time.
